Tasmania's West Coast
Cape Sorell to Point Hibbs
When the wind is offshore or calm for a couple of
days you can land at most beaches down the west coast. There still a few
places that you can land in very rough conditions such as Point Hibbs.
Possible landing site on the west coast
A - Gorge Point - nice beach & freshwater
B - Birthday Bay - Birthday Creek - This was visited in the 1979 circumnavigation
C - Point Hibbs - sheltered beach with great views
